Jason E. Gerhard

A freelance actor, director, and teaching artist, Jason is currently living in the Greenville, SC area. He earned his BFA in Theatre Performance from The University of Memphis and attended the University of Central Florida for his MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences (thesis incomplete). Jason worked as the Director of Theatre Education for Playhouse on the Square and as the Associate Director of Stage Door Productions in Memphis, TN. Currently he is a company member with Alchemy Comedy and performs on the Improv All Stars team and coaches and teaches improv. Jason works for Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville as a Standardized Patient. Additionally, he is a performer for Science Heroes where he has performed Saving Earth Together and The Adventure of the Lost Treasure for 50+ libraries and schools in the SC, NC, and GA area. Some credits include: Heroes, Gods, and Monsters (Creator/Director), Firefly (Creator/Director), Slate (Director), Life Amongst the Stars (Writer), and And Then Came Tango (Movement Director). Jason is a member of AATE and TYA/USA.
